Project summary:

Inspectors at a steel manufacturing facility found a leak on a section of their water pipe. The pipe section was depressurized temporarily, and the area was grit blasted to an SSPC SP-10 Near White metal finish. A 4-layer, high-strength carbon fiber composite was then installed over the reducer to provide a permanent repair for the leak.
