Project summary:

A 10-foot diameter exhaust pipe at a steel manufacturing facility needed additional stability due to internal corrosion. The outside surface of the pipe was blasted to an SSPC SP-10 Near White metal finish and a 6-layer, high temperature carbon fiber composite system was installed. This system provided both hoop and axial stability to the exhaust pipe even at elevated temperatures up to 375°F.
