Project summary:

A fiberglass pickling line at a steel manufacturing facility was experiencing severe degradation due to hydrochloric acid exposure. The pipe tapered from 40 inches down to 24 inches in diameter over a 200 foot length. A 25-foot section was repaired using a chemically resistant composite system designed specifically for service with exposure to concentrated acids.
